Arrowpoint Advisory and Rothschild & Co have advised RoundShield Partners and the founders of LV Care Group on the simultaneous majority sale of the Company’s operating business and property assets to Emera Group and Aedifica SA. LV Care Group is a leading provider of luxury residential, nursing and dementia homes, plus community care services in The Crown Dependencies (Jersey and Isle of Man).
Founded in 2009, LV Care Group operates seven luxury care homes with a combined 279 beds, catering for both state-funded and private residents. Six of the homes deliver high-acuity nursing care, residential and dementia accommodation for elderly residents, whilst one home provides specialist medium and long-term care for those living with drug and alcohol related problems. The Company also provides community care services focused on mental health and complex needs, as well as traditional domiciliary care services. The group’s growth has been supported by RoundShield, an independent private investment firm, which has financed the business since 2016.
The transaction reinforces Arrowpoint Advisory’s experience in the healthcare sector.
Driss Benkirane, the Founder and Managing Partner of RoundShield, said: “RoundShield has worked closely with LV Care Group as the business has grown into a trusted care provider with an outstanding reputation in Jersey and the Isle of Man. We are pleased to have worked with Arrowpoint Advisory and Rothschild & Co as part of this transaction, and to have supported LV Care Group’s management team in delivering state care of the highest quality for the local community.”
Karen Dawaf, Managing Director at Arrowpoint Advisory, concluded: “We are delighted to have advised the shareholders of LV Group on the sale of the operations and assets to Emera Group and Aedifica. This exciting new partnership will enable continued expansion across the Channel Islands, leveraging LV’s strong brand in the local market with the combined expertise of all three parties. We wish Nick, Chris and the team every success as they embark on their next phase of growth.”
