Rothschild & Co's mid-market TMT sector team, Arrowpoint Advisory, has advised Qarma, a leading global provider of AI-powered quality and compliance software for brands, retailers, and manufacturers managing complex, global supply chains, on its investment from software-focused private equity firm, Resurgens Technology Partners (“RTP”).
Founded in 2016, Qarma serves customers across industries, including furniture, home, apparel, consumer goods, and electronics. Its platform connects quality and compliance teams, sourcing professionals, suppliers, and inspectors. Over the past decade, Qarma has built one of the industry’s deepest operational quality platforms, combining best-practice workflows with software designed to work natively in factories worldwide. This unique operational foundation has generated millions of trusted quality data points across thousands of brands that now power a new generation of AI, helping customers move from reactive quality control to predictive and preventive quality management. Additionally, Qarma leverages its supply chain expertise to provide supplier and product compliance capabilities to customers, consolidating quality management, audits, and compliance into a unified platform.
Qarma has built a platform that combines best-practice quality and compliance with hands-on execution where it matters most, on the factory floor. Qarma will continue to be led by its co-founders, CEO Jacob Nedergaard and CTO Søren Mønsted. Resurgens will work alongside Qarma’s management team to accelerate the company’s AI-focused roadmap, as well as accelerating growth in North America, Europe and Asia.
Jacob Nedergaard, Co-founder and CEO at Qarma, said: “The Rothschild & Co team provided exceptional support and guidance throughout the process in a complex software M&A market. Being new to the PE world, it was essential for us to have advisers who invested the time to truly understand Qarma – our ambitions and our culture – and designed a rigorous, well-paced process that covered every element while keeping momentum. Their combination of strategic foresight and sharp execution gave us confidence at every stage. Beyond delivering a successful outcome, they remained focused on finding the right long-term partner for Qarma, and their advice was instrumental in helping us achieve that with RTP. We are grateful for their partnership and excited about the next chapter of Qarma's growth.”
Ian Guilfoyle, Managing Director at Arrowpoint Advisory, highlighted: “We are delighted to have supported Qarma on this transaction. By combining deep operational data with AI, Qarma is helping customers move from reactive quality control to predictive, preventive quality management – and we look forward to seeing the team continue to scale alongside RTP as global supply chains grow ever more complex.”
