Arrowpoint Advisory grows top talent from within, with the promotion of Tom Smith, Will Evans, Ian Guilfoyle and Jamie Hutton to Managing Director
Arrowpoint Advisory, the dedicated UK mid-market team of Rothschild & Co, is delighted to announce that Tom Smith, Will Evans, Ian Guilfoyle and Jamie Hutton have become Managing Directors across the firm’s Industrials, Business Services, TMT and Consumer, Retail and Leisure sector teams respectively.
Tom Smith joined Arrowpoint Advisory as an Analyst in 2014 and has played an important role in developing the firm’s Industrials sector practice, particularly within technical manufacturing and corporate divestments. Tom’s recent transactions include advising Advent International on the landmark sale of Ultra Energy to Curtiss Wright, the divestments of FLSmidth’s MAAG business to Solix Group AB and M&I Materials’ sale of its MIDEL® and MIVOLT® business lines to Shell.
Will Evans joined Arrowpoint Advisory over 10 years ago and in that time has had great success building the firm’s presence in the Consultancy and Professional Services market. Will recently has advised on the sales of SixWorks to IBM, LOD Group to Consilio and Cosegic to MML Capital.
Ian Guilfoyle has been with Arrowpoint Advisory for nine years and has extensive experience providing both sell-side and buy-side advice to mid-market businesses in the Telecoms, Media and Technology sector. Ian’s recent transactions include advising AccountsIQ on its acquisition of ExpenseIn, and the sales of Rentals United to Guesty and Evolve IP to ATSG.
Jamie Hutton joined Arrowpoint Advisory in 2014 and has advised on a range of high profile transactions across the Consumer, Retail and Leisure sector. Jamie’s recent transactions include advising Gordon Ramsay on the merger of his global restaurant group, the sales of Mr & Mrs Smith to Hyatt, White Stuff to TFG Brands and the acquisition of Tangle Teezer by BIC.
