M&A reflections & deal trends for 2018
With the past 18 months dominated by the 'uncertainty' of Brexit, many suspected this would result in a significant fall in inbound deals and affect deal trends analysis. Yet, according to Mergermarket, half of the largest top ten investments into the UK this year were conducted by overseas buyers.
Arrowpoint Advisory's Daniel Domberger provides his thoughts on the situation. Foreign buyers, he argues, are less 'exposed to the noise day-to-day' surrounding Brexit negotiations, and can take a strategic view with longer time horizons.
