Arrowpoint Advisory’s Cyber Security sector team has advised CyberOne, a managed cyber security service provider, on its sale to Bytes Technology Group (“Bytes”), a specialist in IT solutions and services.
CyberOne is a Microsoft-aligned cyber security company that focuses on providing MXDR services through a hybrid SOC based in the UK and Philippines. It also provides complementary zero trust network services and consultancy-led professional services, while reselling software licences and hardware to customers to support its core services.
CyberOne’s managed solutions have been enhanced by the development of proprietary technology and the early adoption of AI to drive automation. Combined with its efficient operations and low-cost delivery model, this has supported strong growth and sustainable unit economics.
The acquisition of CyberOne will strengthen Bytes’s cyber security capabilities and further deepen its relationship with Microsoft. It will also help Bytes to diversify its revenues towards a greater proportion of recurring managed services, while benefitting from CyberOne’s unique IP.
